CLIL Textbooks

CLIL is a dual-focused approach to language learning. It focuses both on content learning and at the same time learning a foreign language. It also aims to develop learners' higher oder thinking skills (e.g., creativity and critical thinking), communication skills, content knowledge, and cultural knowledge. One limitation for teachers is that there are few textbooks available, especially ones that focus on a single content topic. Therefore, over the pat several years I have developed my own textbooks for the CLIL classes I teach at a national university in northern Japan.
